The South Carolina Native Plant Society (SCNPS) is a non-profit organization working to protect & restore native plants while educating our communities in the importance of a bio-diverse, sustainable landscape. We encourage the use of native plants in public and private landscaping projects, and support efforts by government agencies to protect endangered species and habitats. We host numerous programs and activities including field trips, plant rescues, plant sales, educational lectures, and monthly newsletters, all of which are accessible to Society members and to the general public as well. With 6 chapters spread across the state, there is sure to be a chapter near you. Come join us in saving the planet, one native plant at a time!
