The John Day greenhouse is a vertically-integrated community supported agriculture project. Its aim is to help increase local self-reliance and promote agriculture in the John Day River Territory. The greenhouse is owned and operated by the City of John Day as a division of its public works department. Our produce is sold to local grocers, local restaurants and direct to consumer. All proceeds are reinvested in the greenhouse and other community projects benefitting our community like the John Day Farmers' Market.
